One Day gives all Deutsche Bank UK employees the opportunity to donate a day’s salary to our UK Charity of the Year, Dementia UK. This donation calculator will break down a day’s salary, giving the actual net cost of a donation to you and the matched value Dementia UK will receive. Most importantly, the calculator will show you the impact your donation could have on Dementia UK’s vital work.

This tool is for estimate purposes only and relies on accurate input data. Your final donation will be calculated based on personal salary and tax rate. Please note that all information will remain anonymous and no data is stored in this site.

How it works

One Day gives all Deutsche Bank UK employees the opportunity to donate a day’s salary to our UK Charity of the Year, Dementia UK. When you give through payroll, donations are taken before tax and the charity receives the gross amount, whilst you get tax relief. 

All donations from permanent and external employees will be matched outside of usual allowances, doubling the difference your donation makes. 

Permanent employees

The most effective way to donate as a permanent employee is through payroll. 

Click here to visit the One Day giving page, where you will be asked to confirm your employee details and donation. 

  • The Deutsche Bank payroll team will calculate your donation as 1/260th of your current basic gross annual salary and arrange for this amount to be deducted from your pay. 
  • Your salary related information will remain strictly confidential between you and Deutsche Bank UK Payroll. 
  • You may wish to donate more than one day’s salary. When registering to donate, please enter the number of days you wish to give. 
  • Donations made by 17:00 on September 30, 2025 will be deducted from your October pay. Donations made by 17:00 on September 30, 2025 will be deducted from your October pay. Donations made after that time, until 12:00 on October 31, 2025, will be deducted from your November pay.

External employees

If you are an external employee the most effective way to donate a day’s salary is via our One Day JustGiving page, which will go straight to Dementia UK.
